The Gooderham Community Action Group largely funds its programs through these donations. That includes events such as Family Day, GCAG Kids Christmas Party and our Community Christmas Dinner. Along with providing Christmas Cheer Packages to those in need. Throughout the year, we make generous donations to the Central Food Network’s Wilberforce food bank and CFN’s Haliburton County Heat bank. In 2025, we also donated $1,000 to J. Douglas Hodgson Elementary School to help provide students in need with additional food, clothing and funding for school trips.
We appreciate that cottagers and residents take the time to donate and drop off their LCBO returnables to the Bottle Shed located in the Kingdon Timber Mart (Gooderham) parking lot.
