February

Family Day Event

Takes place at Robert McCausland Community Centre from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. Bring your kids for lots of games, activities, hot dogs and refreshments.

Family Day Fishing Derby

Takes place on Gooderham Lake with prizes, hot dogs and hot chocolate. Entry fee $15.

April

Earth Day

Takes places on the nearest Saturday with morning trash pickup around town, free lunch and related displays.

July

Canada Day

Face painting, kids’ games, fossil display, cake and coffee.

Gooderham Music Festival

Takes place Saturday, July 29 featuring Classic Rock Tribute Band Ed’s Garage, B&B Blues Band, Rockin’ Bobs and Salt Cellars. BBQ and food for sale, vendors, silent auction and Catch the Gooderham Spirit Tee-shirts, cash only. Bring a lawn chair and bug spray!

August

503 Street Sale

Buy or sell. Have a good time. Free to set up, just bring your own table! (August 26, 2023). In the event of rain, sale will be held at Robert McCausland Community Centre.

September

Corduroy Enduro

Takes place on the third weekend after Labour Day. Email corduroyenduroriders@gmail.com for more information.

October

Halloween Trunk & Treat

Free hot chocolate and candy for local children.

November

Christmas Tree Exchange

Bring a gift and take a gift from the tree at the Lucky Dollar. (November through March)

December

Christmas Dinner

Takes place annually on the first Saturday in December (December 2, 2023) with a food, penny auction, Christmas carols and Community Spirit Award.

Gooderham Kids Christmas Party

Takes place on the third Saturday in December (December 16, 2023) and includes outdoor tree lighting and other activities.
